If you have be following along with my journey for any amount of time you probably know three things about me: I love the seasons, I love to focus on the things that matter by living presently, and I love to journal. 

Taking the time to journal is one of the most impactful ways for me to really be connected to the here and now, and embrace the season. I hope that these prompts help you the same way!

What is your favorite part of the holidays? What is your least favorite? What can you do to have more of the good and less of the bad?

Describe your favorite holiday flavor. 

How can you bring Christmas cheer to those you know and love?

What is your earliest holiday memory? 

Draw your Christmas tree this year (its okay if it's not amazing!) 

How do you relate to your family around the holidays? 

Reflect on the meaning of Christmas. 

Describe your perfect Christmas morning. 

Make a list of your favorite memories from this years holiday celebrations. 

How do you feel about the new year coming? What's your opinion of new years resolutions? 

Write down your highlights from this year. 

What are your goals for the new year? Create some easy action steps to implement those goals into your daily life. 

What are you looking forward to in this next year? What are you glad to leave behind? 

Write down three words you want this next year to be defined by. 

Write about rest and stillness. 

Take a walk with a cup of tea and no distractions. Write about your experience. 

What are the sweetest things in your life right now? 

What does love mean to you? 

Write about what a perfect ordinary day would look like for you. How can you make your days look a little more like that? 

What are qualities you admire most in other people? 

How are you feeling about the winter? Are you loving it or ready for it to be over?
