What is one of your favorite memories from the wedding day?
My absolute favorite moment was seeing my husband’s face as I walked down the aisle, and the beautiful vows he wrote. There was so much love and emotion and it’s a memory I will cherish forever.
If you could go back, is there anything you wish you would have done differently?
There isn’t much I would do differently but if I had to pick, I would say only having the ring bearers and flower girls at the ceremony. All of our guest were 18 and over but we allowed our ring bearers and flower girls to stay. Looking back I would change that.
Oh and also I wish I wouldn’t have forgotten my garter! We made it work by making one quickly at the venue haha!
Do you have any advice for staying connected with your fiancé during the panning process?
Communication is key! Be sure to include the groom in decisions and make sure to communicate beforehand about what you both want.
If you could give one piece of advice to another bride, what would it be?
Don’t stress! Even if everything doesn’t work out perfectly, it will all be okay. Stressing only makes things worse so if you can try to relax and enjoy every minute of the wedding planning process. And having the groom, and anyone else, help along the way is a great way to alleviate stress so anytime anyone offers to help...take them up on it!
