A potential problem you could face as a bride, is your wedding day turning into one big photoshoot. A day that is meant for two people to make a lifelong commitment to love one another and celebrate that beautiful choice with family and friends, can sometimes become more about the photos rather than about making actual memories. Even though Pinterest is a wonderful tool it has brides piecing together memories from countless others rather than seeing the uniqueness of their own.

3. How To Prevent Your Wedding From Being one Big Photoshoot

Today's solution is just three simple ways that you can prevent this from happening to you.

1. More photography coverage

This might seem counterintuitive. How does having more photography coverage help the day feel less like a photoshoot? Shouldn't having less time with the photographer just do the trick?

But more coverage actually gives you room to breathe. Instead of rushing from one group photo to the next trying to cram everything into a limited amount of time.

When your photographer doesn't have to rush from one thing to the next, they then have room to document the day as it unfolds naturally and then just step in when needed.

2. Choose a photographer you like

You might not realize this but your photographer is with you more than anyone else on your wedding day. More than your best friend, more than your mom, more than your coordinator. They have a front row seat to all of your most intimate moments.

Whether they know it or not, wedding photographers guide you through the day, set the scene for your most treasured memories, and heavily influence the whole tone of the day.

If you choose a photographer that feels like a friend, your portraits change from a photoshoot to a time where a friend documents you as your natural selves. Which brings us to our next point.

3. Less Stiff posing. More real moments.

When you have a photographer that focus on (see what I did there haha) creating real moments rather than perfect poses then your time in front of the camera transforms from just another thing you have to do to sweet and intimate time you get to share together on your wedding day.
