Jennifer and Calvin had been longtime friends. They went to undergrad together and had been teaching overseas in China together for almost a year when Calvin asked her on a date. Jennifer’s initial reaction was to say no. Why run the risk of ruining their great friendship? But the more she thought about it the more she realized how much she admired Calvin’s character and decided it was worth the risk. Jennifer was not disappointed with her decision and they were engaged soon after they returned home.
Their love for one another shone brightly on their wedding day and even the 100-degree weather could stifle their excitement. Their first look was sweet, first kiss adorable (yes they waited to kiss until their wedding day), and first dance hilarious.
I am so thankful that they chose me to stand by their side on such an important day and trusted me with their beautiful memories.
The creative team that made their special day possible:
Jennifer + Calvin wanted their wedding day simple with an emphasis on family and friends. They chose a color pallet that reflected this simple yet warm atmosphere blush, grey, and white.
I would be thrilled to tell your love story!
