5 Fun Date night Ideas for November | Japan Wedding Photographer

Nov 8, 2018

Intentionally connecting with the person you love most can be hard. But I’ve got you covered with some date night ideas that are more than just your run of the mill dates. These aren’t just a list of things you could do but prompts to help you stay connected with one another and stay present in your lives. Not to mention these prompts are based on your mood! Whether you want to stay in or go out on the town, there is an idea for you.

1. WHEN YOU WANT AN ADVENTURE:

Help out your community! This could be at your local food pantry, nearby even a farm, or participate in a beach or park clean up. If you don’t have time to look up an official volunteer event, you could walk around the park by your house and pick up trash on your own! Or buy a meal for someone in need!

2. WHEN YOU WANT TO CHAT

Express gratitude. Go back and forth and try to list out 100 things that you are thankful for.

3. WHEN YOU WANT TO GO OUT

Have a progressive dinner! Have drinks, appetizers, dinner, and dessert all at different restaurants! If you are on a budget, have drinks and appetizers somewhere fancy and dinner somewhere less expensive!

4. WHEN YOU WANT TO BE CHILL BUT STILL DO SOMETHING

Make a thankfulness tree! What you’ll need: Branches, a vase or jar, paper, pens, string. Here are the steps. It is super simple and fun! What you’ll need: Twigs, a vase, string, paper, pens

Step one: Walk around the neighborhood and gather sticks and twigs. Place twigs in a vase.

Step two: Cut paper into circles or leaf shapes. Attach string to them with tape, hot glue or by poking a hole and looping the string through.

Step three: Write on paper things you are thankful for

Step Four: Hang paper on twigs in a vase.

And bam! You’ve got a thankfulness tree.

Here are links to a couple blog posts to get you inspired!

5. WHEN YOU WANT TO STAY IN

Have a Puzzle night!! Put on some fall-ish Jazz music, light the fire (real or digital), pour a glass of wine and get to puzzling! Bonus points if you choose a puzzle that’s a fall scene!

I hope this prompts help you connect with the person you love most! If you try one of these ideas don’t forget to post it on Instagram and tag #cnpdatenight
